The club was founded in 1972 as just a Long Hair Club with our first Championship show in 1977. We welcomed the Semi's in 1984 and have been going strong ever since.

We are affilliated to the GCCF and our aims and objectives are:

• To encourage an interest in breeding and exhibting of all the Long and Semi Long Haired breeds

• To encourage the care, protection and welfare of all cats

• To offer guidance and assistance to members, owners and prospective owners in all matters pertaining to the different breeds.

  
  

  
  

  Membership

  We are a not for profit organisation and we rely on our membership fees to help support our welfare section. Membership is open to all and is £5 a year for a single membership and £8 a year for joint membership. Membership runs from the 1st January for a calendar year however, anyone joining after the 1st October will be given membership until the 31st December the following calendar year example: if you join on the 1st November 2022 your membership will run until 31st December 2023
